Baked feta cheese with tomatoes and horn peppers
A famous Greek traditional side dish. Very easy to make, it’s ready in less than 30 minutes and perfect as a side dish or as a simple brunch!

baked, feta, saganaki, vegetables
(more or less) good quality Greek feta cheese
freshly grated pepper to taste
sliced tomato or 4-5 cherry tomatoes cut in half
Half red horn pepper or bell pepper
Half green horn pepper or bell pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the feta cheese in approximately half inch slices.
Lay some slices of tomato and peppers on an 8-inch pan. Top with the feta cheese. Lay the rest of the tomato and peppers on the feta, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until soft and bubbly at the edges.
Serve with some slices of freshly baked baguette bread!
