The white Russian is a cocktail made with vodka, Kahlua (coffee liqueur), and cream. It's the cousin of the black Russian and it became famous after The Big Lebowski movie
2tablespoons(30 ml) milk cream (heavy or half and half)
ice
Instructions
Transfer the vodka and the coffee liqueur to an old fashioned glass or another 8 oz (235 ml) capacity glass. Add the ice and stir well with a spoon until chilled.
Pour the cream over the ice and serve.
Notes
For a sweeter drink you can try the simple version which is: 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vodka, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Kahlua, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) milk cream, and ice (about 6-8 ice cubes)
For a vegan white Russian use Tia Maria instead of Kahlua and almond milk or vegan cream instead of milk cream.
For a “skinny” white Russian also known as “Anna Kournikova” use skimmed milk or almond milk instead of the milk cream.
