Simplest Olive Oil Bread Dip (+ 5 extra flavors) 💚
One of the easiest appetizers to elevate any dinner, is a small bowl of good quality, extra virgin olive oil and a few slices of crusty bread. In this post you will find a simple, basic olive oil bread diprecipe, plus 5 more ways you can flavor it.
¼teaspoonsea salt flakes you can double this for extra flavor
For the spicy variation add:

For the Mediterranean variation, omit the sea salt and add:

Notes
You can also use fresh herbs instead of dried.I don't suggest using minced fresh garlic because the flavor is too intense for my preference and I find it overpowers the taste of olive oil. Having said that, if you don't have dried garlic powder, a crushed garlic clove will gently flavor your dipping oil.A few drops of balsamic vinegar can be added to all of the variations.You can replace the Parmesan cheese with nutritional yeast for a vegan option.If you have the time to briefly toast the pine nuts, you will make them even tastier.
